Dobies are {{srd5lc|Tiny}} (about 2 foot tall) {{srd5lc|Fey}} who like to exchange their help for food. They dress in clothing similar to peasant farmers. They look like brownies, but their ears are barely pointed.

In the {{SRD5|Feywild}}, they are gatherers living off the bounty of the land. Often they will attach themselves to good-aligned fey and offer to do menial tasks for food.

On the {{SRD5|Material Plane}}, they attach themselves to a farm. They do small tasks in exchange for gleaning the fields after harvest.
