Unofficial Description: Ardlings are humanoids infused with celestial power. They are visibly distinct from humans in that they have heads that resemble animal heads (crocodile, hawk, etc.)

Ardling Traits

Creature Type. Humanoid
Size. Small, Medium. About 3-4 (Small) or 4-7 feet tall (Medium), chosen when you select this Character Species
Speed. 30 feet
Life Span. 200 years on average
Senses. Normal
As a Ardling, you have these special traits.
Animal Ancestry. Summary: You gain benefits based on your Celestial animal ancestry:
Climber (Bear, Cat, Lizard, Squirrel). Gain climb speed and damaging unarmed strike.
Flyer (Bat, Eagle, Owl, Raven). Use reaction to avoid falling damage and boost your jump.
Racer (Deer, Dog, Horse, Triceratops). Increased Dash speed.
Swimmer (Crocodile, Dolphin, Frog, Shark). Swim speed, extended holding of breath, and cold resistance.
Divine Magic. Summary: Gain thaumaturgy or other divine spell cantrip.
Keen Senses. Boost perception.
