Emerald Dragon's Lair
[4] Emerald dragons dwell in … caverns, lava tubes, and tunnel[s]…
The challenge rating of a legendary emerald dragon increases by 1 when it's encountered in its lair.
Lair Actions
[4] When fighting inside its lair, an emerald dragon can use lair actions. On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the dragon takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the dragon can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Beguiling Whisper.
- Distort Perceptions.
- Vanish.
Regional Effects
[4] The region surrounding a legendary amethyst dragon's lair is altered by the dragon's magic, creating one or more of the following effects:
- Crystal Profusion.
- Fiery Sight.
- Subtle Obstruction.
- Thriving Wildlife.
If the dragon dies, the population of giant lizards [and] crystals and emeralds [return to normal].
