Mummies are undead brought back from death by a magical ritual. Typically they are depicted as being wrapped it strips of deteriorated cloth with a desiccated looking body.[4]
Raised by dark funerary rituals, a mummy shambles [forth]. Having been awoken from its rest, it punishes transgressors with the power of its unholy curse...
In the days following a mummy's touch, a victim's body rots from the outside in, until nothing but dust remains.
