The Plane of Water is an endless sea, [also] called the Sea of Worlds[1] The sky has a sun, and storms often cross its surface. The weather is either dead calm or massive storms.[2] [These storms] sometimes create temporary portals to the Material Plane.[1]

Life flourishes in the upper reaches…, called the Sea of Light…. Aquatic humanoids [make dwellings] in the coral reefs. The marids are… stewards of this region…. The… emperor of the marids dwells in the Citadel of Ten Thousand Pearls….[1]

…Deeper…, [without] sunlight, [is] called the Darkened Depths. Absolute cold and crushing pressure mean [death] to creatures [from above]. Krakens and other mighty leviathans claim this realm.[1]

[The few islands] are hotly contested by the few air-breathers that live on the plane. [Others lash together] Fleets of rafts and ships… where nothing else is available.[1]

One of the few actual islands on the plane is the Isle of Dread. The island is connected to the Material Plane by means of a regular storm that sweeps over the island.[1]

[Near] the Swamp of Oblivion (Plane of Earth) is… the Silt Flats [where] the water is thick with soil and sludge…

At the other extreme of the plane is the Sea of lce, bordering the Frostfell. The frigid water is choked with icebergs and sheet ice.[1]

The Frostfell

A.k.a. Plane of Ice, forms the border between the planes of Air and Water, [a] endless glacier [covered by] raging blizzards. Frozen caverns [are] home to yetis, remorhazes, and White Dragons.[1]
