Mimicry is a creature trait for the Phoenix Ash campaign setting.

This trait have slightly different verbage. The first is a feature for a creature without a language and the second is a feature for a creature that can speak a language, the third is and bonus action for a character.

Mimicry.[1] The creature can mimic simple sounds it has heard, such as a person whispering, a baby crying, or an animal chittering. A creature that hears the sounds can tell they are imitations with a successful DC ___[2] Wisdom (Insight) check.

Mimicry.[1] The creature can mimic animal sounds and humanoid voices. A creature that hears the sound can tell they are imitations with a successful DC ___[2] Wisdom (Insight) check. 

Mimicry.[3] The creature can use an Bonus Action using Deception to mimic animal sounds and humanoid voices. A creature that hears the sound can tell they are imitations with a successful contested Wisdom (Insight) check.
