Mordakhesh the Shadowsword is a rakshasa dread knight who serves on the Bleak Council of the Lords of Dust in Ashtakala. [1] [2]

He is known as The Shadowsword by the Carrion Tribes of the The Demon Wastes.[2]

Mordakhesh the Shadowsword is a legendary commander from the Age of Demons.[2] He was warlord for the Rage of War in the First Age of Eberron, and now sits on the Bleak Council of Ashtakala as his prakhutu.[2] Mordakhesh's armies were defeated and bound within the Silver Flame by the dragons and couatl during this time, and he now works to free his master and spread his influence on Khorvaire. [2]

Mordakhesh has had a hand in some of the bloodiest events in Khorvaire's history: allegedly teaching the Dhakaani smiths how to craft their first swords in the Age of Monsters, assisting Malleon the Reaver in his conquest over the goblins, and witnessing the fall of Dorasharn during the War of the Mark.[1] [3]
