Phoenix Ash
Campaign Setting
5e

Damage Transfer is a creature trait for the Phoenix Ash campaign setting.

Damage Transfer [SRD5 OGL/CC-BY][1]
Feature

While attached to a creature, the {{{monsterref}}} takes only half [2] the damage dealt to it (rounded down), and that creature takes the other half.

Sources and Notes

  1. SRD5:
  2. Rule Tip: Round Down. Whenever you end up with a fraction in the game, round down, even if the fraction is one-half or greater, unless a rule explicitly tells you to round up. - Player's Handbook (5e) p.7, UA 2020 Subclasses Part 3.
  • Note: This trait came from the Cloaker and Rug of Smothering which envelopes its target. This trait should only be applied to a similar creature.
