SRD5:Curse
< SRD5
A curse is a magical effect that is placed on a creature, object, or place that has negative consequences. The effect affects the creature, a creature holding or near the cursed object, or creatures (and sometimes plants or other things) in the cursed location. Often, but not always, a curse may be removed or negated for a time by a remove curse spell or similar magic.
