Features

Low-Light Vision. You can see in dim light as well as you do in bright light.

False Appearance. While the vine remains motionless it is indistinguishable from a normal vine.

Entangle. The vine may use a bonus action to animate weeds and vines to sprout from the ground in a 20-foot radius. For the duration, this area is difficult terrain. A creature in the area when you cast the spell must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 13) or be restrained. A creature restrained by the plants can use its action to make a Strength check (DC 13) to free itself.

Actions

Improved Grab. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6+5) bludgeoning damage and if the target is Medium or smaller, the target is both grappled and restrained. The vine may only grapple one creature at a time.

The jade assassin vine is a semi-mobile plant that supplements its nutrition by killing creatures and placing the remains at its roots.

A typical specimen consists of a primary vine and branching vines. It has small, thumbnail sized leaves that are a milky-white color.

A jade assassin vine can move about, albeit very slowly, but usually stays put until prey learn to avoid the area. It then develops small berries that it plants in the ground, to reproduce a smaller vine to take its place when leaves. By the time the new vine matures enough to catch prey, the prey in the area should have forgotten about the original assassin vine.
