5e:Vicious Drake
Vicious drakes are a member of lesser dragons, known as drakes. Viscous drakes are true drakes, meaning they are natural creatures, rather than the product of magical rituals; they also grow in power as they mature (similar to true dragons).
Vicious drakes were named such due to the viciousness of their attacks, which are magical.
Description
Vicious drakes appear as wingless dragons. The color of their scales vary by individual, matching a chromatic, metallic, or Gem Dragon's scale color. They have barbles near their nose. Long fur forms frills behind their jaws and a mane down their neck and back. The fur is usually of a complementary color to their scales.
Habitat
Vicious drakes, while rare, inhabit almost all habitats. They do, however, avoid urban areas and are not known to be adapted to underwater environments. There are even reports of them having spread to the parallel planes, Feywild, Shadowfell, and Underdark.
