Aasimar {pl. aasimar}} is a Species in 5th edition (2024).
[1] Unofficial Description: Aasimar (pronounced AH-sih-mar [1]) are Humanoids that have a connection to the Upper Planes, whether by being blessed by a Celestial or having them as part of their ancestors. They resemble other humanoids, but may have subtle hints to their celestial connection and live roughly a century and a half.

Creature Type: Humanoid
Size: Medium or Small (about 2-7 feet tall)
Speed: 30 feet
As a Aasimar, you have these special traits.
Celestial Resistance. Unofficial Summary: Gain Resistance to Necrotic and Radiant damage.
Darkvision. Unofficial Summary: Gain Darkvision (60 feet).
Healing Hands. Unofficial Summary: Once per Long Rest use a Magic Action to heal yourself or another.
Light Bearer. Unofficial Summary: Know and can cast the Light Cantrip (Charisma as Spellcasting Ability).
Celestial Revelation. Unofficial Summary: Once per Long Rest (after you are Character Level 3) use a Bonus Action to transform for a period of time (choosing one of 3 options below). Each Turn while transformed you can deal bonus Necrotic or Radiant damage with an Attack or Spell.
- Heavenly Wings. Grow wings and gain a Fly Speed.
- Inner Radiance. Radiate Bright Light and Dim Light that causes Radiant damage.
- Necrotic Shroud. You take on a scary aspect causing non-Ally creatures to become Frightened (Charisma Save to avoid).
