Electric Generation is a creature trait for the Phoenix Ash campaign setting.
Electric Generation [SRD5 OGL/CC-BY] [1]
Feature, Action, Bonus Action, Reaction
The creature can generate electricity, releasing it as a defense or attack.
There are four types of this trait. This trait may be taken multiple times, choosing a different type each time.
Feature: A creature that touches the ____[2], or strikes it with a melee weapon, the touching creature takes lightning damage equal to the creature's proficiency bonus.
Action: The ____[2] releases a bolt of Lightning in a line 5 feet wide with a length equal to 20 feet times its proficiency bonus. Any creature in the area of the bolt must attempt a Dexterity or Physical Gestalt saving throw. On a failed save, it takes lighting damage equal to a number of d6's equal to the ____[2]'s proficiency bonus [(PB)d6], or half [3] as much damage if the save is successful.
Bonus Action: When the ____[2] hits with a melee attack, it may use a bonus action to add lightning damage equal to its proficiency bonus to the attack damage.
Reaction: A creature that strikes the ____[2] with a melee weapon, the ____[2] can use a reaction to cause the attacking creature lightning damage equal to a number of d4's equal to the ____'s[2] proficiency bonus [(PB)d4].
Any creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of the ____[2] must succeed on a DC ____[4] Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of its next turn. On a successful saving throw, the creature is immune to the ____’s[2] stench for 24 hours.
Defect.[5] If a creature has this trait, Persuasion checks have disadvantage.
