Heavy Plating. The warforged cannot wear armor, but has an AC of 16 + proficiency bonus, and has disadvantage on Stealth checks.

Sentry's Rest. The warforged need only 6 hours light duty to gain benefit of a long rest, and maintains normal passive perception checks while doing so.

Powerful Build. Counts as Large for purposes of pushing, dragging or lifting.

Actions

Multiattack. The veteran makes three attacks (two with Longsword and one with Iron Fist or Shortsword.

Iron Fist. Melee Unarmed Strike: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4+3) bludgeoning damage.

Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8+3) slashing damage, or 8 (1d10+3) slashing damage if used with two hands.

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d6+3) piercing damage.

Heavy Crossbow. Raged Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, range 100/400 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d10+1) piercing damage.


Warforged Veterans were created to be fighters that take up arms in war. Their ranks include soldiers retired from long service and warriors who have retired from service.
