Unofficial Description: Dragon Turtle over 800 years old.
Variant: Dragons as Innate Spellcasters
[6] Many dragons have the ability to innately cast spells. Their Spellcasting Ability is Charisma, which also determines the number of spells it can cast.
Dragon Turtle's Lair
[7] Dragon turtles make their lairs in underwater caves and coral reefs.
Lair Actions
[7] When fighting inside its lair, an dragon turtle can use lair actions. On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the dragon takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the dragon can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:
- Blasting Current.
- Entangling Kelp.
- Steam Eruption.
Regional Effects
[7] The region surrounding a legendary dragon turtle's lair is altered by the dragon's magic, creating one or more of the following effects:
- Diverting Currents.
- Elemental Portals.
- Hot Water.
If the dragon dies, these effects fade over the course of 1d10 days.
