Duergar Dwarf Template [1] [2]
Duergar NPCs have the following traits:
- Speed: 25 ft. [1]
- Senses: Darkvision 120 ft. [2]
- Damage Resistance: poison [1]
- Weapon Exchange: battleaxe, handaxe, light hammer, and/or warhammer. [1]
- Dwarven Resilience: [1] The dwarf has advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage.
- Tool Proficiency. [1] The dwarf has proficiency with either: smith’s tools, brewer’s supplies, or mason’s tools.
- Stonecunning. [1] The dwarf has expertise when making History checks regarding stonework.
- Languages (minimum): Common [1], Dwarvish [1], Undercommon[2]
- Duergar Resilience. [2] The dwarf has advantage on saving throws against illusions and against being charmed or paralyzed.
- Duergar Magic. [2] The dwarf is a spellcaster using Intelligence as its spellcasting ability. This trait cannot be used while in direct sunlight. The dwarf can cast the following spells without material components:
- If CR is 3+, 1/Day: enlarge/reduce (self only, enlarge only)
- If CR is 5+, 1/Day: invisibility (self only)
- Sunlight Sensitivity: [3] While in sunlight, the dwarf has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight.
